So my internet is out for reasons unknown and it’s pretty sad I tell you. So I am at the local library typing away at my tumblr trying to ignore the stares from those around me. it feels awkward. I just want to be in my computer chair with no shoes and my snuggie clicking back and forth to my facebook and the 5 people i’m IM’ing at the same time. But something cool did happen today and it wasn’t expected at all! I was driving around Plainview and checking the sites (or lack there of) and I stumbled across a tattoo shop, So i walk in and start talking with the people there and they seem really neat and Un-Texan like. (I’m not really sure what that means but whatever) So I’m chit-chatting away like I usually do and I find out they are from North Carolina! My people have come to save me from the dry-treeless plains of West Texas! haha. Not really but I was pretty damn excited to meet people that knew where I was from! haha. So the little joys of this place have yet to amaze me. So I have no idea when my internet will return so chill out tumblr I’ll return one day! I promise!! :)
So my holiday season has been anything but normal, then again, nothing is when you get my family together. Everything started the day after Thanksgiving, then progressively got crazier.
(Black Friday) My mom and I decided to skip out on the shopping because I really hate fighting the crowds, so we didn’t go. But later towards the evening we decided to eat out for dinner. So we decide on a little Mexican restaurant in Plainview that she told me was pretty good. So we get our teas and chips and salsa and we’re just chit-chatting about any and everything. She goes silent for a moment and grabs her jaw/throat area. I was thinking maybe she swallowed a chip wrong but then she was short of breath (no, she wasn’t choking). The pain started getting worse and in her back and chest so we decided to get on to the emergency room. Luckily we were already pretty close by the hospital. So we go in, they take her immediately while I’m left to fill out her paperwork/insurance info and what not.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but I guess you’ll see the coroner a little sooner than expected.

I knew there was a good reason I didn’t particularly like apples, and I thought it was about the skin in my teeth. haha

You’re never too old for Santa. My 23 year old brother and I went to get a picture for our mom. She loved it. And that Santa was really funny. haha
| — | Robert Frost - This is one of my all time favorite quotes. It’s perfect and simple. |

When it comes to my family, I’m the youngest and only girl of three. My brothers are both in the military and have horrible relationship skills, social skills, and they’re over all distant. Then there’s me. I strive for perfection in relationships (any more than it would become a fault), I’ll talk to about anyone who’ll listen and I seem to have a healthy relationship with my family (at least my mothers side). I don’t understand how people brought up in the same family with the same experiences could turn out so differently. We all went through the same things as kids, so it just boggles my mind how we’ve become so different. I understand that we’re separate people with different minds but I mean our morals are all out of whack. It’s just crazy to me.
